This is why it has been so difficult to plan a camping trip this year! It seems almost every day we have had rain, storms, funnel cloud warnings etc. It has been a horrible summer (weather wise) - not a summer at all!
Yesterday, the Police directed us to reverse off the highway due to the flooding of said highway! We were still diverted through a flooded area, so we had to drive through it; the waters went up to the top of the wheel wells - we prayed we would not stall. Apparently the forcast for August is much of the same!
