(Cawdor Castle, Scotland)I'm taking a quick break in front of the computer, as my Mum is on her way over to help me move more furniture and packing boxes out of my house. I took the house off the market at the beginning of July in order to renovate from top to bottom; new kitchen, bathroom, floors and paint throughout and as the house is 100 yrs old, work on the outside as well. I am in the middle of renovation chaos - well I am not exactly doing all the hard work. My wonderful and talented Dad is putting down the hardwood floors and contractors are doing the rest. Just packing everything up and moving the furniture into storage is enough! I am hoping to have the renovations completed by September and then put the house back up for sale. Surely with a fresh new house for sale, it will sell soon and the girls and I can then make our trek to El Salvador!

I hope all your hard work pays off quickly! La Hija and I will be heading back down for a visit next summer and I am hoping to get a great new hair-do there ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy! We're making progress - the entire inside of the house is painted white now - if you could have seen it before, it was done up with funky wallpaper and yellow walls! We loved it, but we love that avante garde style - it's not to everyone's taste! Great new hair-do - yes definately!
